Dr. Mohamed Waheed is leading the group forming Gaumee Itthihaad and has been elected the provisional Leader. His contribution is invaluable. His contact with the international community brings in more strength. His work and ideas are highly appreciated.

In his absence, Dr. Mustafa Luthfee (Provisional Deputy Leader) is the guiding beacon, Dr. Mustafa has methodically created stepping stones and with his patience and perseverance has shaped a bright future for Gaumee Iththihaad and hence for the people of Maldives.
